Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8

Samsung competes with nearly every gadget put out on the market. So when other companies put out their 5-inch smartphones trust Samsung to come up with their own version. The tech giant went beyond the 5-inch trend and released two new phablets: one with 5.8-inch display and another 6.3.

Samsung has been impressive in overtaking companies like Blackberry and Apple but it falls short with their 5.8 phablet offering. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is not as impressive, analysts say. The five-incher is a giant definitely. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note II, grip and slim design were not as carefully thought of in the Galaxy Mega. Reports say, most users were concerned whether the device will slip out of their hands or not.

Keeping the phone inside trouser or shirt pockets is not ideal. The size and design make it impossible to stay in place - the phablet will likely pop out of the pockets constantly. Placing the phone inside the jeans or similar areas increases the chances screen cracking.

The user interface is similar with the other Galaxy phones. People will need to use both hands to type properly on the screen. Fortunately, pressing the setting icon on the keyboard will reveal a smaller keyboard. Users can drag the keyboard to the right or left depending on their preferences - similar function in Note II. Only difference, using a single hand can be difficult because the phone is too large to grip singlehandedly.

Samsung introduces a fresh setting for one-handed tasks. People can change the position of the dial pad, adjust the calculator keypad and reposition the scale of the unlock function. Basically, the phone can transform into a single-hand device. Users will have to spend additional time fixing the applications because Samsung did not install third party apps.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 does not belong to one of the more powerful products of the company. It only runs on 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM.

The Mega 5.8 design's does not stand out from the rest of the Samsung Galaxy phones. It has the same single central key and curved edges. It features a TFT LCD display offering 540x960p resolution. The back has a glossy plastic Samsung stamped on it. On the back, there were two microSIM slots and a big 2600 mAh battery.

How to Root Galaxy Note 10.1

1. On the computer install the proper drivers for the galaxy Note 10.1; you can do this bydownloading and installing KIES.
2. Then, download the rooting file that is suitable with the variant of your device: for N8000 use the link from here, for N8010 the download link is here, for N8013 get the root package from hereand for N8020 you need to use the link from here.
3. Also, on your computer download Odin.
4. Extract the root package and Odin.
5. Install Odin and open the same.
6. Turn off the tablet and reboot in download mode.
7. Download mode on Galaxy Note 10.1 can be entered by pressing on the Volume Down and Power buttons.
8. With the device in download mode, connect the Note 10.1 with the computer by using its USB cable.
9. Once you do that, on Odin the “added” message should be displayed.
10. Also, the ID:COM section should be yellow; if not try to re-install the drivers and repeat the steps.
11. From Odin, select the option named “PDA”.
12. Select the root file and don’t make any other changes (the Re-partition option shouldn’t be ticked).
13. Click on “start” for beginning the root operation.
14. In the end, on Odin the “pass” message should be displayed.
15. You can unplug the USB cable and reboot the handset.

This is Samsung's Early Unbreakable LCD. Something like this is mostly likely to be used in samsung's upcoming galaxy S4 phone. Though i highly doubt you can fold your final product but it will be unbreakable.
